Morton M30 Water Softener

Morton M30 Water Softener UnitThe Morton M30 Water Softener is a whole house 30,000 grain water softener. Morton has been around for more than 160 years and is one of the leading brands when it comes to salt production and water softeners. The Morton M30 has a 30,0000 grain capacity that is designed to function perfect for large households and large families even if your water is very hard. The Morton M30 is also built to deliver extremely high flow rates of over 11 gallons per minute while handling up to 95 grains of water hardness per gallon. You can definitely depend on the M30 to deliver a substantial amount of softened water.

Another great thing about the Morton M30 is the physical size. Morton has decided to go with a compact all in one single tank design that measures just 17”x21”43” which leaves you space for everything else! Along with compact design, Morton has added a convenient fully automatic monitoring system that starts regeneration only when needed by predicting your water usage. Other Morton Products

Morton System Saver II Pellets

Morton Water Softener PelletsThe Morton System Saver II Pellets are some of the most popular sodium water softener pellets out on the market. Morton is one of the top brands in the US for sodium production so this does not surprise me. You’ll find that Morton makes several different types of water softening pellets that are specific to your needs as everyone is dealing with their specific water situation. The Morton System Saver II Pellets are specifically tailored to those of you who suffer from large amounts of iron in your water and like all of us, wanting to extend the life of our water softener so it doesn’t need replacing a few years down the road.

Those of you with large amounts of iron in your water should seriously consider switching over to the Morton System Saver II Pellets if you have not already. Overtime, iron builds up onto the resin beads in your water softener reducing their softening capacity and causes iron fouling. If the build up gets bad enough the resin beads will start to crack and fall apart, which will require you to replace the resin bed. Sounds awful right? In addition, the iron build up in your softener can cause excessive amounts of certain bacteria. The System Saver II pellets are specifically designed to reduce these awful results.

Morton Solar Salt Crystals

Morton Water Softener CrystalsThe Morton Solar Salt Crystal is another great product from Morton! Morton has worked very hard to design a huge line of products so that way there is a solution for you specific situation. If you’ve read some of my other reviews on Morton products you’ll notice that they tend to be a customer favorite because of the trust that comes along with the Morton name. The Morton Solar Salt Crystals are another great example of their ingenuity and desire to supply their customers with the best possible product. Solar Salt-water softening crystals serve as a more natural approach to water softening as they are harvested directly from salt water and crystalized by the sun and wind. In addition, there are no additives, additional chemicals or processing involved. Some consumers have complained that is a little too natural for them, as they’ve found pieces of rock and dirt in their bags.

Morton Solar Salt Crystals are compatible with any water softening system that uses sodium or potassium chloride and aide in the prevention of scale build-up in your appliances, pipes and faucets. People in colder climates are also using Morton Solar Salt Crystals to melt ice and snow because of its competitive price and natural characteristics.

Morton Rust Remover Pellets

Morton Rust Removing PelletsThe Rust Remover Pellets from Morton comes in 40 lbs bags and has extremely high purity when compared to other types of salt. Morton has extensive line of different types of salt and softeners. Morton is considered the experts in the science of salt and has put some serious work into developing these rust removing pellets for your softener. Rust can develop in your plumbing, appliances, faucets and anything else your water supply comes in contact with; this is caused from high amounts of iron in your water source. The Morton Rust Remover Pellets use a specially designed formula to prevent rust damage from happening by removing 15 times more iron than other salts out on the market. If you’re noticing rust starting to form from your water supply and own a water softener, these rust remover pellets are a must!

In addition to removing rust from your water supply, these pellets are also designed to give you the benefits of standard softening pellets. Benefits like the prevention of scale build up in your water heater and in your plumbing, better tasting water, soaps lather much better, enhanced showering experience, etc. If you have rust developing on your appliances, faucets, and fixtures I would suggest making the switch over to the Morton Rust Remover Pellets.

Morton Potassium Chloride Pellets

Morton Water Potassium Chloride TabletsMorton Potassium Chloride Pellets are a 99% sodium free alternative for your water softener. This is a great choice if you are on a low sodium diet and are looking for ways to lower your sodium intake. Potassium Chloride Pellets are compatible with most to all sodium and potassium based water softeners. To read my full review, head on over to my “potassium chloride water softener” page!

Morton Rust Raze Resin Cleanser

Morton Rust Raze is a commercial strength resin cleanser that is targeted towards people with high amounts if iron in their water source. People with high amounts of iron in their water source experience a number of problems and complications from anything that their water comes in contact with. This will affect things both mechanically and cosmetically. People that are struggling with high iron content in their water will notice that their tubs, sinks, showers, and toilets are becoming stained with a reddish brown rust color. In addition, plumbing and appliances will start to rust causing eventual failure and high replacement costs.

Morton has developed Rust Raze Resin Cleaner to combat against these awful and harmful affect that are caused from iron in your water. There are two ways Rust Raze can be used. The first one requiring a little more elbow grease but offers much quicker visual results, which is where I tend more to lean. Simply apply the Rust Raze directly to your tub, sink, toilet bowl or anything else that has that awful rust stain and start scrubbing away! You’ll notice the stain starting to disappear and the items original color start to come back to life. Make sure to where rubber gloves and a respirator. The second approach is more hands off and takes a little longer to notice some visual changes. Mix the Rust Raze with water and pour it into the water softener and start the recharge process on your water softener. Makes sure to follow the directions on the back of the Rust Raze bottle. A bottle of Rust Raze is much cheaper than purchasing all new items so I suggest grabbing a few bottles of Rust Raze and making a routine out of cleaning the affected areas every few months!
